A lighthouse stands both against the sea and the darkness.

My first attempt at seascapes in a long while. Practising with the new PS CS5 mixer brush tool and alla prima techniques. Approximately 4 hours.

A great piece, the sea inspires me to paint too. It has been a long time ago when I used my paint brushes.

I wonder what's in a book while it's closed. I know it's full of letters printed on paper, but something must be happening, because as soon as I open it, there's a whole story with people I don't know yet and all kinds of adventures and battles

Ahora entiendes lo de llevar la cámara para tomar referencias si voy a la playa, ¿no? :D

Muchas gracias :) Hace poco compré algunos libros de pintura paisajística y de marinas y les he estado intentando sacar partido, aunque entre la falta de inspiración, referencias y técnica... pues casi nunca guardo lo que hago XD Pero pronto subiré más, lo prometo :3
